Hannes Bieger returns with his toughest release yet on Awesome Soundwave

This is the German producer Hannes Bieger’s first release on Awesome Soundwave since his 2020 album, which featured ‘Poem for the Planet’, one of the seminal tracks on Carl Cox and Christopher Coe’s imprint.

’Illusion’ showcases the tougher sounding side of Hannes’ work, with a rolling bass, chunky backbeat and rather minimalistic yet effective synth melodies. The track has become a highlight in his live set, and it has already garnered support from DJs like Adam Beyer.
