Marc Romboy’s glorious studio album MUSIC MADE FOR ALIENS from March 2023 has been given a remix once-over! He shared his insights on each individual track and producer behind the remix….
”Oh, yes, what a special day this is because ten of my super top fav producers are releasing their remix of one of my „Music Made For Aliens“ tracks. And with post I wanna tell you something about each producer!”
1) ‘Aurora’ (Ivory Sunrise Mix)
Very impressive how Daniel aka Ivory puts together groovy house grooves and tasty Detroit stabs together. Love his interpretation of my closing track.
2) ‘All worlds all times’ (An On Bast Remix)
The queen of modular made techno sounds has put her talented hands on the opening track. Massive how she adds her sound signature to my opener.
3) ‘Intelligence’ (Toto Chiavetta Remix)
Big big fan of this talented buddy from Italy. Fantastic how Toto always treats crazy and fresh techno sounds. One of my fav remixes here.
4) ‘Black Triangles’ (Bawrut Remix)
Super happy to have Bawrut on board. Remixing „Black triangles“ is not an easy one. When I listened to his mix for the first time I wan´t able to close my mouth, ha ha. Listen to this remix, it´s full of surprises and inflections.
5) ‘Black Triangles’ (Metodi Hristov Remix)
My pal Metodi is an artist to keep an eye on, this is for granted. You need a sure shot that destroys the dance floor? Here you are!
6) ‘Belgium’ (Christopher Coe Remix)
Besides Carl Cox the brain behind Awesome Soundwave, my mothership for this album. Totally in love how Chris turn jam sessions into massive remixes you cannot ignore. I call his style Deep Peal Time Techno.
7) ‘Aurora’ (Avision Remix)
Anthony has already massively convinced my with his remix for „Present“ by Nicolas Masseyeff and Kittin on my Systematic imprint. Here he comes along with another banging US warehouse tech monster.
8) ‘Belgium’ (Josh Wink String Remix)
Still super in love with his remix incluing his voice saying „Beeeelgium“ like a robot. Here is the alternative version including catchy strings.
9) ‘Intelligence’ (FLUG Remix)
I’m not so much into fast banging techno BUT FLUG has converted me to love this style again. he knows how to make this hard dircetion charming, banging and soulful. Not to miss...
10) ‘Exeter’ (Pfirter Remix)
Big big big fan of Juan Pablos music for a decade now and muchas gracias for this massive tech tool, massive!
11) ‘Hanenda’ (Will Clarke Remix)
This remix is simply stunning, outstanding and yes, totally futuristic. Check out that ultra long break when the lead sound completely freaks out. Never heard something like this before.
12) ‘Belgium’ (Josh Wink Remix)
Josh is one of the most influential house and techno producer of all times. I just say „Don‘t laugh“, „Meditation will manifest“ and „Higher state of consciousness“. Josh has his very own signature sound you really can‘t copy and with my track „Belgium“ ge did it again, wow!
